Growing up in the biodiversity of Colombia instilled in Diana a lasting and profound obsession with all things animals. Her childhood goal of becoming an “animal doctor” persisted throughout 4 moves through London, Washington, DC, and San Francisco. Finally in 2017 she was able to come full circle and study veterinary medicine in Colombia.
In 2022, Diana graduated from Universidad CES with a degree in “Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry”, eager to contribute to evidence-based medicine and the care of patients. She is currently in the process of completing the ECFVG to become licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the US. Diana hopes that while she studies, she can continue to leave a positive impact in the community by aiding in the care of patients and the education of clients at ABWC.
Diana moved back to Northern Virginia in 2024 and when she can sneak some free time between study sessions, enjoys rowing, crochet, and illustration.
