Dr. Eng grew up in Hockessin, DE and always wanted to become a veterinarian. As a child, she imagined her dream job – helping fearful and anxious animals cope with stress, while providing their people with the resources to improve communication and quality of life. During an overnight shift in the ER as a veterinary technician, she learned about the field of behavioral medicine and realized an occupation existed where she could fulfill her dream!

After graduating from Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018, Dr. Eng completed a rotating internship at the Hope Advanced Veterinary Center in Vienna, VA. She then worked as a general practitioner at Franklin Farm Veterinary Clinic in Herndon, VA using Fear Free techniques to provide care ranging from wellness visits to chronic illnesses. As Dr. Eng noticed more and more patients needing help with behavioral problems, she decided that a behavioral medicine residency would provide the opportunity to better care for patients while fulfilling her lifelong passion.

Dr. Eng lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, parents, newborn son, and two dogs. She loves eating good food with family/friends while playing games, chatting around the table, and just enjoying time together.
